With a variety of reasons, some operators began to stop selling the iPhone. One of the major operators in Russia, Vimpelcom, states will no longer sell new iPhone models.

Apple is usually asking for stricter requirements for operators who want to sell the iPhone, such as price subsidies and marketing campaigns. Whereas regulation in Russia does not allow iPhone subsidy so prices there are too high.
Apple currently has a market share of 4.5% in Russia. They can still sell the iPhone in there through the resale stores.
Earlier, Japan's largest operator NTT DoCoMo keukeuh not offer the iPhone to date. Apparently they feel the iPhone is not compatible with the ecosystem services that have been built.
DoCoMo is selling smartphones customized with its own range of services, such as online photo sharing service. While the iPhone is difficult dikustomisasai and operators must comply with the desire of many Apple
