Start a smartphone, tablet, phablet, to smart watches, Samsung is virtually penetrated almost all lines of mobile gadgets. When the news is true , it might be the Korean manufacturer also intends to expand into the realm of "smart glasses".
Quoted from Cnet, Eldar Murtazin, a Russian blogger analysts concurrently, Monday (07/10/2013) then upload tweets claiming that Samsung is developing a device similar to Google Glass.
The name of the device, according to Murtazin, is "Glass Gear". Prior to this, Murtazin has often issued inaccurate speculation about the gadget. One of the latest is his prediction that the price of the Samsung Galaxy Gear would be too expensive.
Murtazin did not provide any details about the "Gear Glass", he only mentions the estimated wakru its release, which is between April to May (2014).
Previously, the brand "Gear" is already used for smart watches made by Samsung, Galaxy Gear. It makes sense that the brand is eventually going to be used for all products wearable device the manufacturer. Galaxy Gear is a smart gadget which must be connected to a Samsung smartphone to display notifications and run be some other functions.
As for "Glass", it seems unlikely that Samsung will use the name unless it involved a partnership with Google that was first wore on Google products Glass.
