A company certainly does not want artificial products they hijacked or used illegally. Microsoft, one of the most violent muzzle copyright infringement on its products.
For that they hire an external monitoring company, LeakID. Use a third party company because Microsoft could not check copyright infringement on all the websites and blogs that exist in cyberspace alone.
LeakID, on behalf of Microsoft, was actively reported to Google to remove the links several web sites that infringe copyrights of Microsoft's search list. However, the company was known to the supervisor made a mistake.
They reported it to Google to block some web sites that actually is officially owned by Microsoft. One site reported that it was a copyright violation http://www.microsoft.com/france.
That one of the links listed products related to French language and also Microsoft's technical support pages in French.
Fortunately, Google does not have an automated system to remove the link from the search list. For this problem, everything is still handled manually by a Google employee. They also do not eliminate this link, although there is a demand.
Is there a problematic system that sends requests LeakID "fake"? For this, there is still no clear answer. However, LeakID long as it's been a few times sent false alarms. Previously, as quoted from Mashable, Wednesday (31/07/2013), a similar problem also happened to HBO in February 2013 last month.
LeakID also been "against" a blogger who uploaded a PDF file totaling 28 pages about chess that he apparently wrote his own.
