Because of Bag, Apple Being sued ex Employees

Apple being sued by two former Apple Store employee charged with a number of hours of unpaid labor by Apple. The two employees, namely Amanda Pelle Frlekin and Dean, filed a class action in the Federal Court of San Francisco, USA, on July 25, 2013.

Apple for the Apple Store requires employees to conduct bag checks twice a day to ensure nothing is stolen product. According Frlekin and Pelle, each employee had to stand a long wait in line up to 30 minutes.

As quoted from CNet, two employees who each worked at Apple Store New York and Los Angeles, it calculates the time spent queuing to bag checks. They claim, if the time was assessed with money amounted to 1,500 U.S. dollars per year.

Apple accused of depriving the employee working hours and have done illegal practice of giving wage and overtime compensation for employees throughout the United States. "This practice requires employees to wait in line for checking bags when they want to eat and after they were absent at the end of the shift," according to the lawsuit documents.

Frlekin and Pelle claimed Apple violated labor standards regulations and laws of the state of New York and California.
